Passo Books, è stato progetto di ricerca e cura dedicato a libri usati, cataloghi, ephemera e memorabilia. Uno spazio in cui raccogliere tutto
ciò che evocava il movimento — dalla performance allo sport, dalla natura che viaggia alle barche
in navigazione. Un piccolo banchetto di oggetti dimenticati e ritrovati.
Passo Books was a research and curation project dedicated to used books, catalogs, ephemera, and memorabilia. A space to gather everything that evoked movement—from performance and sports, to traveling nature and sailing boats. A small stall
of forgotten and rediscovered objects.

La Mesticheria prende il nome dai vecchi empori
in cui si trovava di tutto. A Sperlinga, questo spazio si trasforma in un contenitore di esperienze per connettere comunità locale, territorio e visitatori.
Frutto di un anno di studi sul campo da parte di Spazio Vacante, il progetto valorizza il patrimonio materiale e immateriale del borgo partendo dai ricordi e dalle voci dei suoi abitanti. Un percorso partecipato e inclusivo che trasforma i cittadini
nei narratori della propria unicità, creando valore per chi vive il territorio e per chi lo scopre per la prima volta.
La Mesticheria takes its name from old general stores where you could find a little bit of everything. In Sperlinga, this space transforms
into a hub of experiences connecting the local community, the area, and visitors.
The result of a year of fieldwork by Spazio Vacante, the project enhances the tangible and intangible heritage of the village, starting from
the memories and voices of its inhabitants.
It is a participatory and inclusive journey that turns citizens into the narrators of their own uniqueness, creating value for those who live in the area and those discovering it for the first time.

Giano was my bachelor's thesis project, a floor or table lamp that carves an arch of light set within volcanic stone. A shape that tells the story of Sicily—a land of borders and conquests—through design and material.
